The Interpretation Center “Mario Echeverría Baleta” is located in Estancia Mitre, 50 km from El Calafate and invites you to travel through the past with the charm of the proximity created by Esteban Echeverría inspired by the life and history of the Tehuelches who inhabited the area.
There the visitor will find a discreet Patagonian house of yellow ocher color located on a small elevation, which makes posible the view of the imposing landscape of mountains of eternal snow that surrounds the place.
In the video, Esteban tells how the idea was conceived, and who accompanied him in the project that today is a reality in progress.
